Google Officially Rolls Out More Results Button On Mobile

It is official! Google has formally introduced the “More Results” search button on mobile platforms. This small but significant addition to Chrome will not doubt hold some significance for companies. Why is this important? That’s exactly what we are going to talk about here.

What Was the Problem

Ever since the dawn of smartphones people’s ability to browse websites has been curtailed by the limited results option. Sure, you can click on the next page tab and more on to that but that takes time and everyone is short on time these days.

That is why the developers at Google have been working to develop a new way to browse search results online. Having been in the works for a while now, the new feature is finally ready to be deployed and very soon, it will be implemented across all Chrome browers and their latest versions.

How Will This Affect The User Experience

Obviously, the addition of the “More Results” tab will be an interesting change in the UX of all mobile platform users. By allowing users to load more results without having to load another page, Google is not only cutting down on the load times, but also ensuring greater accessibility.

Normally you would have to reload a previous page to get to the search result that was posted there. But with this new “More Results” option, you will be able to see more results on the same page. This means that not only will the feature enable better browsing but also reduce data load times.

Clearly this is a step in the right direction and will optimize the entire user experience. Naturally, the addition will be well received and might even increase the mobile browser market share of Google.
